“Through the program, I learned a lot of different modalities and self-care tips to take care of myself throughout this career. The staff at Chico Massage School really wants to help you be successful after you graduate. Therefore, the program is packed with learning experiences from the clinic hours that are open to the public and booked by the staff, to the chair massage event at a craft fair that was held by the school. The school also connected us to events in the community, such as Chico High’s Sober Grad Night and Marcus Brown’s Ski Clinic, where we got to massage for extra practice and connect with the community. By the end of the program, I felt truly prepared for a career in massage and ready to start my own business.”
